Engage Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle Review 2019

Here is a full review of the Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle. We’ll begin with a general overview, list this paddle’s main specs, plus go over a few of the pros and cons we’ve uncovered. The Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle is one of the company’s most popular paddles. The Encore Pro offers players the power and control only some of the more expensive options can.

Overview of the Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle

Pickleball fans and players alike usually appreciate how loud the game can get. While usually reserved for indoor courts, pickleball can be played also in an outdoor pickleball venue. Sometimes the noise can be a problem.

The Encore Pro pickleball paddle blends a polypropylene core into an extra polymer layer to help deaden the sound. This makes for a paddle that is very practical on neighborhood pickleball courts, where players want to be sensitive to the local community.

The Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle has been rigidly tested by professional pickleball players, but sports features that make it a favorite among both novice and intermediate players. It has a large, enhanced sweet spot for a highly accurate contact with the ball.

Engage started with prototype paddles, and teamed up with professional pickleball players to shift this sweet spot closer to the grip. The U.S.-based company is known for its industry-leading level of testing of every paddle model they produce. This helps ensure that every time you strike the pickleball, it will be with improved precision.

All Engage paddles use a special skin technology, which creates a paddle face that stays in contact with the ball for an instant longer. You will notice immediately a slightly improved sense of control. This helps pinpoint ball placement, and create impressive ball spin shots.

The Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle weights around a ½-pound more than the original, beginner paddle Engage produced. This adds slightly more power behind every shot, making it a viable paddle for advanced pickleball players.

Each Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle comes with a rough-skin face that helps enhance ball control even more. You will be able to better control finesse shots, while applying maximum force to those powerful passing shots.

Pros and Cons of the Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle

Pros
With a wide sweet spot, the Encore Pro pickleball paddle is perfect for beginners. It is also an excellent paddle for intermediate players and perfect for the pros who want to play on courts where noise reduction is mandatory.
Encore paddles use a unique skin technology. This helps every Encore paddle maintain contact with the ball for slightly longer than other brands. When the ball stays in contact with the paddle face for just an instant longer, it magnifies the player’s ability to control both placement and spin.
Every Engage pickleball paddle comes with a 30-day cash back satisfaction guarantee. Beyond their confidence that you will be satisfied with the performance of your Encore Pro Pickleball paddle, Engage offers a lifetime warranty against defects, plus a 5-year guarantee against dead-spots in your paddle.
The Engage Encore Pro paddle is perfect for the rigorous schedule of everyday pickleball players. This paddle also has a comfortable grip to help prevent hand and wrist fatigue.
The medium size grip makes the paddle easier to handle for beginners, but has a large enough circumference for advanced players to generate a powerful force to the ball.
Generating the power and control of more expensive competitive paddles, the Engage Encore Pro is a paddle with enough technological advantages for competitive players put into the hands of the novice pickleball player.
Cons
The extra weight of the Engage Encore Pro may be difficult to become accustomed to.
Beginners might find the price of this paddle a little high for their budget. Absolute beginners, who are experimenting with pickleball for the first time, may not need such a powerful, high-quality pickleball paddle.

Opinions about the Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle

Pickleball players’ opinions on the Encore Pro have been consistently excellent. In fact, in our research for customer reviews, no review of this paddle fell below a three out of five stars ranking.

The most glaring disappointment is related exclusively to the price, which is slightly higher than that of most intermediate-level pickleball paddles. In spite of the price, this paddle was well rated by players, ranging from beginners to seasoned tournament competitors.

Another plus of the Encore Pro that caught many users’ attention was having been tested and reviewed by professional pickleball players. While the paddle primarily attracts novice and intermediate level players, it sports most of the features of a more expensive, tournament competition paddle.

Even beginners were impressed by the amount of bite they could place upon the ball. They found this paddle great for spinning shots that often require years of practice to master. The paddle was also deemed perfect for tight shots in and around the net.

Conclusion

To summarize our review of the Encore Pro pickleball paddle – it can hit the performance of a competitive paddle at a fraction of the price. Engage backs its paddles with an outstanding warranty, plus a 100% money back guarantee that you’ll be satisfied. If you’ve already used the Encore Pro, tell us what you think. Also, if you think we’ve missed any points in our review, let us hear about those as well.

I have heard about the Encore Pro Pickleball Paddle and I cannot really judge since I have not had experience with it myself. However, I have heard that the cost of it is a bit ridiculous which is the only reason I have not looked into it.

Well it’s not cheap! It’s a great paddle for pros but if there are lots of options that won’t cost you as much
